First off, apologies if this thread has already been made before.. I didnt see one tho at first glance.

There are loads and loads of games on this brilliant site, but I would like to know wich are the absolute cream of the crop.
It would be nice for me and most new members to see wich games are totaly worth yr time, and wich are not..

My personal 5 best games (originals):

-Shenmue 1&2
-Skies of arcadia
-Street fighter III third strike
-Bomberman (I also got the saturn version, wich is equally good, if not even better)
-Evolution 1&2 (Yea, I like turn based rpg games a lot..-)

The homebrew castlevania collection, secret of mana, beats of rage collections.. are also def. worth a burn !!

The worst, or should i say 'not so brilliant' games imho:

-fighting force 2
-pen pen
-gauntlet legends (expected a lot from this, what a dissapointment...-)
-uefa striker
-jimmy white 2 (stay far far away from this .... )


I'm curious to find out wich games are you peeps favorite ....

But the discs I play the most of are "snes4all" "nesterdc" "neo4all" and the "1035 genesis games" etc discs. Also stuff like the Pulstar Neo4All port and such... thanks to this wonderful community!

The possibilities are endless. If waku waku 7 (neo geo) were put on a neo4all disc... or if r2: rendering ranger and super turrican 2 (snes4all) were on discs.. There's still SO MANY great games that will eventually be on the dreamcast. STURMWIND looks absolutely amazing, for example.

I really can't pick a "bottom" because even most of the "crappy" games had some kind of interesting gameplay elements.

I must say, though, LACK OF LOVE and D2 are my favorites, mostly for their originality, atmosphere, and strange fun you rarely get in games -- ICO, SHADOW OF THE COLLOSUS, PIKMIN, and others definitely owe a lot to those games.

hey anthony, re: Nesterdc SE with 3165 roms and new skin ... does this have REKKA: SUMMER CARNIVAL '92 on it by chance? I have a nesterdc burn that is AWESOME, and I have some other "'complete' nes discs" but they all seem to be missing REKKA. I really would like that game.

Also, anyone who plays nes on their 'cast, play the games LITTLE SAMSON and JOURNEY TO SILIUS if you want your mind blown, for completely different reasons.

can anyone tell can the NAOMI arcade game Virtua NBA be ported to DC

Some Naomi parts from that board were ported to DC disc but not that one.

I think V NBA has the CDROM based Naomi board

i would get a dc is a second if it was. i had one in 2000.
